The cats immediately took an interest in it. They liked the corrugated cardboard scraper. The scratcher itself is well made - sturdy, elegant, and doesn't seem to "shed" cardboard as quickly as other scratchers.
One of the concerns about corrugated cardboard scratchers for cats is that many are made with toxic glues and/or cardboard materials that are not safe for our kittens, and the product is safe for adults, children and pets. It can be found in mixtures such as paint, ink and glue or in items such as toys, furniture, textiles and electronics during testing, and they sent me a certificate proving it passed the test.
